This is a nice Japanese style hotel. That is the rooms are small and basic. It is close to shopping, historic sites, and transportation. In the US an inexpensive hotel can mean a rundown, poorly maintained property, but that is not the case in Japan. These hotels are clean and well maintained. The free breakfast is Japanese style

Toyoko Inn has modern, clean, and convenient rooms. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Staff is courteous and attentive. The room price was economical, too. I used this chain frequently during my trip. Highly recommended.
