The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the vast and famous Kumamoto castle. It's also located in the city center with shops and restaurants.
The hotel itself is modern and sports spacious rooms even by western standards. Many rooms if not all have views of the castle lit up at night. The design interior is slightly influenced by "castle" motif....

We stayed for 2 nights in a type A double. The hotel is simple but very convenient for a quick stopover to visit the castle. They have a parking garage available for a moderate fee. Overall it was good value. One main drawback for us was that there was no computer available for guests to use however.
