It was ok, the room was decent size, had a little fridge and a flat screen tv, comfortable beds, but everything else felt pretty old and worn down. Hotel New Otani is situated about 10-15 min walk from Tenjin, the centre of Fukuoka, and 5-10min bus ride from the train station. There's an underground station next to the hotel. You could take one to Tenjin, but it's only a station away and a bit of waste of money. Furthermore, you'll have to change to go elsewhere.

When I arrived I was floored by they fact that they greated our party with unbrellas because it was raining. It was very late at night prob around 12:30am yet they were on their top game. Robes and slipper in room. Beautiful lobby. Underground mall. And walking distance to everything you need. Loved my entire trip there and would recommend...
