Hotel is 5 minutes away from the castle and shopping/restaurants area. Make sure to ask how many persons is included in the quoted price. Staff speaks little English but very helpful. Small rooms but immaculate and functional.

This hotel couldn't be in a better location - essentially a bit more than halfway between the train station and the castle. We arrived in the evening and it was a beautiful walk down the main street from the station to the hotel.

We're on a two-week trip in Japan, are now in Kyoto, and just left Himeji today.
We LOVED Hotel Wing... I own/operate a hotel in Phoenix and it's cool to see what new Japanese hotel construction involves.... this hotel is very new, and everything is in great shape. We got a twin room, so we had two beds pushed together...
