The room was very clean, small, 10 minute walk from Utsu station. I used it to go to Mashiko Village. 7-11 around the corner. There are good eating places in Utsu station, the restaurants around the hotel are open only during meal times, don't seem to cater to foreign tourists (only Japanese signs). Just my guess. Rooms are small to US standards, even UK standards. But the hotel has good services, good bed, free (wired) internet, free parking and is veryt centrally located close to numerous restaurants within walking distance. All in all very nice hotel! More
