This is the first time I tried a minshuku in Japan (come to think of it, despite all my travel experiences, this is my first minshuku stay!). Why I decided on a minshuku? Budget and the reviews here and I am glad to say, I was not disappointed in any way.

I traveled for 2 weeks in Japan recently, stayed at 10 different "hotels" all over, 6 of which were Minshuku's, and I must say out of all 10, this place was the 2nd best (next to the most wonderful love hotel we accidentally found).
It was so good compared to others, in fact, that I feel compelled to write this...
