Can't recommend the Taiseikan too highly. It was a fantastic experience of another world and time and a highlight of our trip to Japan. We could not have been better looked after. We went to Hakone to see the mountains and, given the weather, saw nothing but mist. But the room, meals and baths at the Taiseikan made it all...
