We arrived early, dropped bags and ate in a restaurant beside the lake where we watched people take the pirate ship which takes you across the lake, then to a cablecar to see an active volcano. Our room was large, matting on floors and a small sitting room. Our dinner was served in another room, huge feast of Japanese dishes...

It is charming ryokan hidden in Hakone-machi. The room we stay was very clean with the view of Mt.Fuji. Foton was comfort..we had a nice sleep. Hotel provide 24 hour onsen free of charge and included dinner and breakfast(Japanese style)..pretty good!!! 22,000 Y per person. Advice to try once, you will love it.
