We have stayed here a couple of times and enjoy being in Narita town where we can walk to restaurants and experience being surrounded by some traditional Japanese culture-rather than being isolated in one of the other more luxurious airport hotels. As previously mentioned the rooms are a little weary and could do with a good makeover-however the hotel is... More

We stayed here for 1 night before a morning flight from Narita. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from JR Narita station, and a similar distance from Keisei Narita station. In the morning, it takes about 10 minutes by train to the airport from either of those stations, which are in the centre of Narita city. The hotel also... More

The hotel is conveniently situated in Narita town for the many bars and restaurants and the wonderful Temple and it's grounds,.very close to both the J.R. lines station and the Keisi station for trains to Tokyo and the airport. There is a hotel shuttle bus but it does not always run at a convenient time (takes 25 mins ). The... More

I have stayed at the Mercure several times - it is a decent alternative to the airport hotels that you are stuck with when you have a stop over or an early morning flight. The rooms have definitely seen better days - another reviewer has called them "tired" and I would agree - but they do the job. What you... More

We used this hotel for an overnight stay and bus connection to the airport at Narita. The hotel is large, quiet and near two train stations for easy access to the JR rail network. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was very good. Lots to choose from and plenty of it. The shuttle bus to the airport... More

This hotel was fair in its standards. Travelers should be aware that the breakfast is not included in the overall price.

Clean rooms, though it would be nice to have more than one pillow per person. Our room was right next to the train tracks, but we didn't notice any noise at night. They offer a free shuttle bus to the airport, which we used both ways. It's located very close to many restaurants and a nice park in Narita.

The Mercure is a tired old hotel. Rooms are basic mostly twin beds. Tea and coffee. Old style tv and DVD player as all channels are from Japan. No English except for CNN which I find strange in a country that's promotes being number one in technology. No wi-fi in room. Bathroom is a plastic capsule designed for earthquake survival.... More

Clean and friendly located very close to the station and shops. Nothing extravagant or fancy but for a very reasonable rate its a good choice for a few days stay.

The location is just perfect. It's fairly close to the Narita stations of the two competing railway companies, from whence one can catch a train to the international airport, and it's less than ten minutes' ride. They also offer a complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the airport too. The hotel itself is well maintained though you won't be... More
