Closely located near the otaru cannal. Lotsa restaurants around. Nothing much to explore other than that around this area. Located far away from the JR otaru station . Walking takes about 20 mins to walk. Hotel is of the victorian style. Was an ex post office. A really different experience. Has a small carpark behind, suitable for self-drive travelers .

Otaru is a magical place, espacially in February during the snow gleaming. We (2 couples) stayed there in 2010 and have booked at the Hotel Vibrant for 2012, returing with our adult children and another family.
