My wife and I stayed 2 nights in a junior suite ocean view on the 9th floor facing the Ocean.

We chose this hotel due to one reason- it's right on the beach. Atami is a popular place for Tokyo travellers, so we don't normally go there because it's too overcrowded. A beautiful boutique hotel, favouring a very comtemporary western style decoration.
Many rooms have spectacular ocean view. Bathroom is equipped with luxurious rain shower instead of bath tub (one can do the soaking at the hot spring pool). The room is purposely missing business related items like desk or internet hook-up as one comes to Atami to relax and forget...
