A disappointment frankly. Whilst well-located, the lobby and rooms were very tired indeed. The rooms are the normal small size for a Japanese hotel, but there really is no excuse for not refurbishing. The Kanazawa Excel Hotel is located very conveniently for sightseeing. Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden are both walking distance from the hotel.
