The hotel rooms are spacious and very comfortable, even if the decor is a little dated. The beautiful onsen, with great views of the mountains and the town is a very big bonus. My wife loved the spa and rates it as one of the best treatments she's ever had.

The rooms aren't really that great (perhaps because we prefer a king size bed rather than 2 larger size twins), but clean and comfortable. This is a first-class hotel, with an hourly shuttle bus service between it and the train station (city centre). Stay here if you're seeking luxury and hot spring baths (in the hotel).
