booked this by luck via ebookers- not too expensive, incredibly convenient- just round the corner from Sakae subway station and therefore minutes away from anywhere else, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room had a fridge and the hotel had a washing machine and dryer.

The Tokyu Sakae Inn location is ok. The access info on the website is not very accurate. It states 5-min from either Fushimi or Sakae station. In fact, It is closer to take the Exit 8 of Sakae Station of the Higashiyama subway line. Since you can walk thru the underground shopping streets. It's more than 5 blocks if you...
