I stayed here on business and when I walked into the lobby to check in, I thought I was in for a treat. Very beautiful and elegant and the staff are clearly well trained hotel professionals. There are nice restaurants and banquet rooms, and another plus is that it does have a fitness room. Unfortunately, the rooms are old and... More

The only room available [a holiday week end] was on the smoking floor. The smell was quite over powering. I bought some room spray freshener which made it bearable. Could the hotel not do this? Entering the hotel through the lobby, which is quite lovely then getting off on the floor for my room was like going through a time warp.... More

Stayed with family for 3 nights as we were going to the Grand Prix. Dont book the standard floor rooms, they are extremely old and very very small. Hotel foyer, its staff, its restuarants looked fabulous. But we were really dissapointed with our tiny rooms, old scratched furniture and the rate wasnt cheap. I wouldnt stay there again unless booking... More

This hotel is a fine building and well fitted out. Rooms are adequate. Breakfast is well served and there is a large sitting area. There was a problem with the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke everywhere possibly coming from the air conditioning. Mobile phones though supposedly banned in the lounge area were allowed. The bar was tiny and occupied by... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. This hotel is an absolute bargain for the quality that you get. The rooms were big, the service was excellent. It was extremely clean, I expect this place was recently refurbished. They have very convenient underground parking. The centre of all the nightlife in Nagoya is a short stroll away. There is an ATM on... More

Wonderful location, easy taxi ride or decent 20-minute walk to Nagoya Central Train Station. Service was very professional, as this is a mostly business hotel. Nagoya is not a tourist destination but my cousin and I decided to try and see what was available. We had been to Tokyo back in Spring 2001. Taxi ride from Nagoya station is about... More

This is a fantastic hotel, the staff service is truly exceptional, even opening the automatic doors for you. The room I had was on the top floor, with stunning views of Nagoya city. The room was immaculate and spacious and well appointed. The hotel is well situated for the train station as well as many bars, clubs and restaurants. The... More

I stayed at the Nagoya Kanko Hotel for two nights. I got the cheapest rate which landed me with a spacious room with two twin beds. The bathroom, however, was a tad small. The hotel itself was built in 1936 and it really shows its age. The hotel interior looks like it came out of the 1950s. The wallpaper and... More

We stayed there for 1 night last year with my husband and 1 year old baby. We booked a junior suite for discounted internet price and the room is absolutely beautiful! It's very spacious & decorated in European style with very comfortable beds & nice sofas. The bathroom is a bit small but very clean and nice. The staff was... More
