We stayed here 11 November 2011 during our 2 days trip Jerusalem-Petra with One-Tour from Sharm El Sheikh. Everything was ok. Good location, great views the busy streets of shopping area. Very nice evening walk. Room was big, clean, with satellite tv, fridge and comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast buffet was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Everything was quite good. This is what I would expect for the price. And it has a very nice view from the roof.
The only negative experiance was the noise level in the room. Is was extreamly noisy!!! If you have a room on the oposite side from the see, expect brutal noise from 5am to 2am. So you have...

Good location - near to public beach and market . Clean. Buffet breakfast was ok. Not easy to find parking space near hotel although we were there during Eid which did not help.

We were looking for a budget hotel, but found some of the cheapies in town to be truly grim. On entering the rather grand lobby here, I thought we'd never be able to afford a room, but the guy at reception offered us a "single" room for 40 dinar (roughly €40). We choose the hotel by pure chance and were happy with it. It was reasonably priced, cheap compared to other places we stayed at in Jordan. Room was very big, clean, with sitting area, satellite tv, big (empty fridge), comfortable bed and great views over the busy streets of the shopping area. Staff was friendly. There is no internet access...

We paid 45 JD for a triple room which was spacious, clean, quiet and nicely furnished. It is right in the center of Aqaba, and the town is quite small so you can get anywhere on foot. We had to pay extra for the breakfast, but it was only 2 JD so it was worth it.

Avoid the international hotels in town by staying at this local place, right in the centre. Okay, it hasn't got a pool or five star luxury but it certainly has character!
Ask for a room overlooking the street; some look into a courtyard. They may be quieter but you'd miss the delights of watching the locals go about their daily...

Good size rooms. Noisy if facing street but this can be drowned out by the air con! Very helpful reception staff: got me a discounted entry into Royal Diving Club for snorkelling. Central location, close to shops and sea.
