A View from a Tourism Consultancy in Africa... If you are in line for the development fo services that does not meet the pricing and service requirements yet - please proceed, otherwise, please reconsider. Booking at another venue in Livingstone is strongly recommended. (Zambesi Sun is still your best option - Sun International Hotel) I just returned from Livingstone on... More

The hotel was really nice. Specially the location is really nice. It is very close to the Mosi-ol-Tunya Park and for those interested in doing boat cruise. It is also minutes from the waterfall and shopping centers. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was breakfast at the hotel. There was not much variety and the same things were... More

Excellent Service, value for mone and great location. Acitivities are too expensive. Staff are friendly and hotel is very clean. Suitable for FIT's and groups. Everything is well organised. Spend three nights and food was very good. Within minutes from the waterfalls and great view always

I organised and planned a workshop for top government, university and UN officials at the Chrismar for 5 days. Starting from the rooms that are 5 star to the dinning room with a wide range of cuisines including local meals through to the conference room, the Chrismar is a top notch 5 star hotel. The Livingstone Chrismar has feel good... More

Spent three nights for a conference with colleagues from all over Africa, Europe and USA. The facilities have improved slightly from my last visit there but a lot of work needs to be done to have this hotel of really acceptable standard. Reception area is not inviting and requires some attention. Staff polite and helpful but one can immediately see... More

My girlfriend and i visited Livingstone and the Victoria falls during the summer break 2012 and stayed at Chrismar hotel...it was amazing, we had a fantastic time and planning in returning soon. The hospitality was incredible, our rooms were amazing and not to mention the food...just too good, everything was really nice, we had a swim in both pools but... More

Spent one night at the Chrismar in May 2012. All fine apart from one major problem - bedbugs. Never again.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Chrismar. A warm welcome from the front of house and porters began the stay and this continued throughout. The rooms are thatched cottages, finished to a high standard. Reading the other reviews shocked me. We had no issue with bugs or ill fitting doors/windows. The rooms were stylish, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable.... More

After very pleasant accomodations and highly trained staff in SA, the Chrismar was very disappointing. If this was not a tourist destination I wouldn't have expected the same level of accomodations. I have traveled to remoter parts of Africa and realize we can't expect the same level of comfort. However, this is a very busy tourist destination and the price... More

I went there on the Easter holiday, with my wife & my friends' family,we booked 2 double rooms, we traveled for 450 km,when arriving we found that they reserved one room only. Before checking in we were obliged to pay for two nights because of the hotel policy. At the reception the sits are teared & old, you feel that it... More
