My partner and I had the pleasure of staying here by accident. We had booked on a whitewater rafting trip with Water By Nature and we were booked in here after 4 days on the Zambezi. We truly felt like movie stars as we landed at the hotel by helicopter from the river trip and I have to say, we... More

I was first told about Taita Falcon Lodge in 2006 whilst on a recreational flying trip to Zambia. We were staying at a local B&B in Livingston and the owner said if we had not been it would be well worth our while to do so. Suffice to say I have been back on various occassions and told others about... More

We stayed here from 19th-22nd august of last year. Not seeing too many good photos of the lodge, we weren't quite sure what to expect. Surprisingly we were the only guests staying during our time there. This meant all the attention and focus was upon ourselves which felt a little uncomfortable at times. Needless to say the lodge was a... More

This is truly an amazing lodge. The view is inspiring and the grounds are impeccably maintained. The lodge sets high above the Zambezi River with a beautiful territorial view of the gorge and surrounding landscape and it is common to see white water rafters on the river below. It was a treat to watch the falcons and hawks soar majestically... More

We stayed at the lodge for three nights, great service, good discussions, and would go back again without hesitation. The hosts arranged special events for us and costs were more than reasonable. We all enjoyed our stay

The Lodge is not far from all the attractions. They arranged wonderful trip to Mosi-oa-Tunya ( Victoria) fall on Zambia and Zimbabwe site and a sunset cruise on the river. We were glad that we choose the lodge, Sun International accommodations was less appealing. The meals are made freshly so is the BREAD. You will not see wild animal on... More

We were a group of ten extended family from Botswana, South Africa, Switzerland and Australia. On arrival we were met by the fantastic view of the 17th Gorge and the Mighty Zambezi, 200 meters below the Deck we werre vstanding on. The hospitality was first class and very friendly. The cuisine was extremely good and the tastes of Africa were... More

We were camping there for one night on our way to Kariba Lake but we would have liked to stay longer because of the exellence of this quite and piecefull place. The staff surely know's about service and 2 security guards was watching over us the entire night (out of sight). The camp was clean and most comfortable. We will... More

We stayed at Taita Falcon for 3 nights after our ten day camping safari through Botswana. The lodge is a 30 minute drive out of Livingstone and great if you want seclusion. Great view of the river below and the whitewater rafters - which we did and the rafting was sensational. At Taita Falcon we were the only guests and... More

Our party of 9 (4 couples + our 4 yr old son) stayed for only one night on our way from South Luangwa National Park to South Africa and then home, as we had a connecting flight in Livingstone. Didn’t have much of an opportunity to experience the lodge so can only say that the views were great, the food... More
