The owner, Lilly, runs a top notch guest house / B&B. The rooms are clean and very practically laid out. The nets over the beds are the best I've seen -- a solid steel frame giving you much space to move inside the bed, unlike the single-point nets which often touch your body, giving mosquitoes access. The staff are very... More

This review is long overdue! I have a list of places I want to visit before I die and Vic Falls is one of it. So I cannot not visit Vic Falls since I now live in Harare! I needed to be out of Zimbabwe but got tired of Jo’burg, so Livingstone was perfect being just next to the Falls.... More

I want to say first that the staff is lovely and it’s a great place for a good value decent meals. However, I don't think that this is a good place for solo travellers particularly women. On a recent stay I had to leave the B&B and check into a nearby hotel for fear of my safety. An intruder peered... More

My family (parents and older brother) came to visit from the States while I was living in Zambia and we wanted something a bit nicer and quieter than a backpackers but not quite as extravagant as the Royal! Zig Zag was perfect for us and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a reasonably priced, well-maintained place to... More

Basic but clean, quiet, friendly and safe - this b&b was perfect for our two night stay in central Livingstone to see the sights before heading out to a river lodge. The rooms are small, but comfortable, and the hot water bottles were very welcome as we were staying at the time of year when the night time temperature is... More

We just returned home after a too-brief stay at Zigzag during our visit to Livingstone and Victoria Falls, and were completely charmed by this friendly, unpretentious B&B. We enjoyed several interesting chats with Lynne, the owner, and she and her staff were incredibly helpful in providing detailed advice about things to see and do and in booking our sunset cruise... The rooms are small and basic. But they are clean and good value. The location is very good; in the centre of Livingstone, with a big beautiful garden, quiet, swimmingpool, nice teracce. And the service is perfect and also free wifi. The staff is super friendly and very helpfulll. Thumbs up for these nice people. More

Went to Victoria Falls in September and stayed 7 nights @ Zigzag B&B . Lynne, the owner of the B@B was amazing . The staff @ Zigzag always very helpful and smiley :-) I give 4 stars for location because it is located closer to the city of Livingstone which isn't the most beautiful city I've seen in my travels.... we felt comfortable with zig zags the moment we arrived. The service was personal and friendly. The staff arranged many fantastic day trips and a safari for us with no trouble even though we kept changing our plans. The teenagers loved the pool and the delicious food. It was a bonus that the rooms did not have T.V as it... More

Booked into Zig Zag based on the good reviews here, but feel I need to counter. This place is for budget travellers and backpackers. You will not find luxury and comfort here. We booked for 13 people attending a wedding in Livingstone, one of whom was elderly. We couldn't really let her stay here. Rooms are TINY. Decor is unattractive.... More
