My Wife Wendy and I want to thank the Royal Livingstone personnel for making us feel at home and for creating a magical moment in our journey. Thank you manager Gift for helping with our accommodations and thank you Collins, Peter and Franklin for making the evening dinner at Monkey3 an unforgettable memory we'll take with us for the rest... Two night stay before a big South Africa tour. Great location, with the Zambezi and the mist of the falls in sight (best seen via the infinity pool!) and with wildlife - including opportunist monkeys - wandering the grounds. Old colonial style bar and lounge for that extra touch. Staff helpful at all times. Food above expectations. A slightly hard... More

Hotel was very high standard, service was also very good but it was the most expensive five star hotel we have ever stayed in @ $500 per night! That included bed and breakfast only. We even had to pay $22 each for afternoon tea which we felt was pretty greedy for the price we were already paying per night. The... More

April was the perfect time to visit both the Zambezi River when in high flow and the Falls themselves from both Zambian And Zimbarbwean sides. The hotel is first class on every count: architecture, service and friendly welcome. The "environment is the message". Huge swimming pool and immaculate gardens abut the bankfull River. Falls' smoke on a close horizon. My... More

We had just a short two day stay at the Royal Livingstone hotel but thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we were there longer! Upon arrival, the view from the car drop off area through the lobby and into the Zambezi river is stunning, putting you in the right mood straight away! It was also very nice to be shown into... We didn't stay at the Royal, but stopped by for Bloody Marys at the bar/deck right on the Zambezi with the "Smoke" in the distance! The waiters were so smart looking in their white shirts and vests. We decided to stay for lunch on the upper terrace. We were treated like royalty. The waitress brought over small padded foot stools... More

we had rooms 5097 & 5098. Traviled w/ 33 yr old son. From the moment you sit down to register as they give you a hand massage in an elegantly appointed room w/ high ceiling, to the women who entered our room as we did & said she was our butler to help us unpack, there wasn't one person who... More

We spent a fantastic 4 days at the Royal Livingston. It is a modern hotel based on what turn of the century hotels in colonial Africa probably were like. Most of the rooms if not all have either a balcony or a patio. You fact the mighty Zambezi river while sitting outside your room watching Vic Falls (the smoke that... More

Lovely - from the welcome to check out... The hand massage on checking in was a welcome surprise. The views from the bar on the deck are nothing but magnificent. Joy
