Stayed at Thorn Tree River Lodge during May 2012. Had a wonderful time and was fully impressed with the lodge and the wonderful staff. Food was brilliant, rooms spacious and clean. With a beautiful, peaceful location on the banks of the Zambezi River, in Mosi-oa-Tunya park, outside Livingstone town, and away from Victoria Falls, the Thorn Tree River Lodge is a nice base from which to explore the area. Everything about our stay here was magical! The river location was wonderful for deep relaxation and watching the world (and waterlife) go by. The lodging was exceedingly comfortable. The managers were so welcoming and gracious and provided excellent guidance for using our time around Livingstone effectively. And it was the first delicious food that we had in Africa!
