Hoi An is not as cheap as everywhere else but this hotel is beautiful. It's in the centre of old town right on the water. The lady who checked me in was happy to show me another room with more light, as the window was high up, but I kept the room as it was larger. It's still good value... More

We got off the local bus at the bus stop and while we were looking on the map to find out which way to walk to get to the hotel we had picked out of the Lonely Planet, we had a helmet on our heads, bags on bikes and were going to be taken there for $1. The place we... More

The correct name should be Huy Hoang River Hotel. Most of the rooms are no-window so be certain before booking. The breakfast is okay, the staffs are freindly and please be kind and understand them during busy hours ie: breakfast time (morning) and check in checkout time (noon) for they have to cater many tasks at the same time. We... More

The hotel was just nice enough that I didn't change, but not nice enough that I'd go back. The location is good, just next to the market on the edge of old town. The staff was friendly and it was easy to walk around town. Breakfast was included and ok. The room was small and a bit run down. The... More

For the cost that you pay, around $25, this hotel is great value. Large spacious rooms, aircon, comfy beds, quirky bathroom. We had a great view of the lake from our room, a bonus considering we'd stayed in 3* hotels with no windows! Right next to the market, it is very well located in Hoi-An, walking through the market during... More

We found Huy Hoang a really good base for exploring Hoi An 'ancient town'. Helpful staff (though you could tell they were on the commission because they recommended a tailoring place and taxi company pretty emphatically). Only downside we found was the walls were pretty thin and it was a bit noisy in the morning.

This hotel was one of the best hotels we have seen in all of Asia. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is fantastic and the staff makes the whole experience really worthwhile. We stayed for 5 nights, and became good friends with all of the girls working in the hotel, they helped us in every way. Hope to... More

Stayed in Huy Hoang River Hotel, Loved it. We read through the reviews on Trip Advisor after booking it and was pretty shocked at the negative remarks, thus not expecting much out of our stay (made full payment via Agoda on a 'no cancelling' policy). Seeing the hotel and room, I am quite surprised as it is the complete opposite... More

Since we stayed only one day in Hoi An we chose a centrally located hotel and it was like this - you go out and you are in the market busrling with locals and foreigners so you are in the middle of plentifull smells, sounds and colors;). The hotel s in tubular house and from all rooms only 4 are... More

We received fantastic assistance from the hotel staff upon our arrival to Hoi An, including how to get to particular places of interest, the booking of great tours as well as where NOT to go for food because of previous food poisoning cases. However, during the course of our stay, we were let down by a number of things: the... More
