I'm afraid it was not only the hotel but the whole Marmaris experience which I didn't quite like: the beach was full of cheap tourism, the water was not so clean, the nightlife wasn't quite my style,... the room didn't seem that new and the terrace was very narrow despite the views over the beach. The Royal Maris is in central Marmaris in a superb situation overlooking the town's main beach. It's a short, pleasant stroll to the harbour and bazaar area. First when we came the ac didn't work, but they fixed it very quickly. The staff are wonderful, and the location is perfect. Nice and clean hotel. The topfloor with pool and bar and a view over Marmaris is just great. more

Hotel was fine. But do not let the pictures fool you. This hotel is centrally located, and directly faces the beach - infact the hotel even owns the part just outside, meaning you can have sunbeds for free (elsewhere in Marmaris, expect to pay!)
