My wife and I booked a 9 day holiday at The Shambala many weeks ahead after hearing our son rave about it. (He'd been there last year after seeing article in the NYTimes). We had a lovely room with uninterrupted view of the sea. Decor of the wood cabin was delightful: quirky paintings, Indian bedspread, shower with view of sea,... More

A bit of a drive from Fethye past Olundeniz to the top of a dirt road down to Kabak valley you will be met by the friendly staff of Shambala to take you to this little piece of paradise. We were just blown away by the views and the incredible food, some of the best we had on our 2... More

I agree with many of the other reviews here. I went to Shambala because I had read about it in the New York Times. It sounded like a peaceful sanctuary, and just what I was looking for after touristy Fethiye. It was a beautiful and relaxing place and the food was quite good. However, all that relaxation went right out... More

We would like to let know that we totally agree with you by claiming us for a misbehavior of one of the employee. If only you had mentioned this situation at the check-out time, we would do everything to show you our devotion to keep us in good memories. This awful case is definitely not reflecting our perception about life... More

If you need a hair dryer and iron in your room, you should stay away from the Kabak Valley and Shambala. We were scheduled to stay for three nights at the end of the season and we extended an extra night. I think it helped that we were there at the end of the season because the area was quiet... More

Many of the other reviews sum this place up well. The location is wonderful as is the layout of the camp. The views from the many lounge areas and the accommodation were amazing. The food was very nice and was 100%veggie when we were there. We treated ourselves and stayed in The High One which was nice but the huge... More

Thank you for your kind words. We apologize for the door-case. Unfortunately after a long investigation for a solution, we were not able to find a qualified technician to solve this problem, since we are not located near the city wich is 35 km from us, sometimes in the high season staff like this happen wich we can't avoid. We... More

I loved Kabak like I loved Goa's Palolem Beach. It has simple, camp-like accommodations, clean, lovely beach, and relaxed, un-pretentious visitors. The Turkish government has maintained a pure environment at Kabak Valley. You can't tell that Shambala is one of 16 camps (at least) in the valley. From the beach the hillside appears unsettled since the wood frame tents and... More

Thank you very much for your nice words. We really appreciate it. Almost all of our volunteers and employees are able to speak and understand at least english and also other languages, except the technician workers who are local people from the villages around the valley. In case of such questions like that, it would be much better if you... More

We had a lovely time here. The setting is mind-blowing and they have done so much to make every aspect of your stay spot on. Wonderful views and great food. It may be a little more than some of the camps in Kabak, but it is definitely a step above them.

The setting is extraordinary. Hard to escape the tourist hordes on the Turkish coast, but just 1/2 hour from Oludeniz this spot is magical and feels like you have stumbled across a hidden paradise. Price was great (by USA standards), hosts and guests were chill and friendly, food was excellent. Shambala is beautifully set-up, with a dozen little nooks and... More

Amazing People, Amazing Guests, Amazing staff, high energy and perfect location. I've been travelling all around turkey from luxury hotels to camp sites and I can say with confidence that Shambala is a unique experience which you wouldn't get anywhere else.

The first impact was not so impressive. This is because me and my girfriend are not used to these kind of places:some people could look posh and trendy. This is only the first impact:after this and after you realize where you are everything is a dream.the tree house we had was the Ramta house:spectacular view of the sea and the bay of...
