The room was filthy and we had to change roms only to find the second one was worse. we had to litterly fight with the from desk and the cleaning staff to get the room cleaned. food was terrible. We thanked our stars that we had only one night in... More

This was the worst hotel experience that we have ever had. No-one to assist with bags on arrival, stairs everywhere and no elevator. We changed our initial room as it was filthy and had to supervise the vaccuuming of the second room. Hallways were thick with dust and debris. Staff very defensive when challenged. Breakfast was appaling - boiled eggs in... More

We also stayed here overnight as part of a 2 day trip last month. The room had not been cleaned. Cotton buds on the floor, tv no colour etc. Towels which had seen better days, sheets all crumbled. The reception was very nice but beyond that dreadful, and if this hotel had been elsewhere health and safety would have been... More

Like most others we stayed here as part of a package trip. Four star? They're having a laugh! The hotel is very tired. Dingy. Sensor lights in the corridors didn't all work, so at times was walking in darkness. The toilet was dirty (and had been used & not flushed) Tiles grubby with built up dirt in corners. Floor felt... One night stay in this hotel was one night too many. Thick with dust, sticky carpet underfoot, cats walking over the buffet tables sniffing out the breakfasts. View from the balcony was like looking into prison courtyard with a pool in it. Balcony not seen a mop in it's life i don't think(dead cockroaches). Only stayed as part of a... More

Like most reviewers we stayed one night in the Grand Sevgi Hotel as part of a 2 day package trip to Ephesus and Pamukkale with Queen Travel. We paid approximately 46 pounds each for the package which included Guven, our brilliant, knowledgeable, personable and organised guide, three buffet style meals, entrance fees to both Pamukkale and Ephesus and seats on... Like most people we stayed at the 'Grand Sevgi' as part of a two day trip to Ephesus an Pamukkale while I will agree the 4/5 star rating is somewhat a stretch of the immagination our experience was not that awful. Our room did not have a balcony but the view across the valley was lovely. The airconditioning worked and... More

We didn't choose to say here - due to overbooking at hotel of our choice we were 'upgraded'.. It was awful. Definitely not an upgrade! Hotel was huge, noisy, old/tired, dirty, smelly, uninviting. Felt like we were staying in a pickup joint for prostitutes! Room was large, basic, old - nothing remarkable. No customer service. Breakfast was basic.
