We stayed at Mustafa for 3 nights and had a great stay. I'm surprised to read some of the reviews here to be honest, not to diminish anyone's negative experience, but we (2 couples) had an almost flawless stay. I give Mustafa a 4 not because it is a 4-star (it isn't) but because of the value for your money,... More

If you are woman and stay here alone, be careful. This is one Japanese woman's experience. I think that other women stayed this hostel alone may have similar experience. http://hitodenotabinikki.blog92.fc2.com/blog-entry-159.html

I was surprised to read these others reviews which could make you thinking Mustafas Hotel is some kind of a rip off place. Because I liked it. I stayed there for one night in May 2011. Well, of course the standards are better somewhere else but compared to the price there's nothing to complain. My room was clean, also the... More

I really didn't like that one of their people started selling us the place as soon as we arrived at the coach station (which is in another town). We agreed that we would have a look at the place, why not. He tells us a price for the room too that seems very good. A Dolmus trip later we arrive... More

In one of our weaker moments we have allowed an agent to advance book accommodation on our behalf. Mustafa's is a stones throw from the main attraction of Pumakkale and therefore is in a great location. The rooms are rather sparse, yet quite roomy, with a double & one single bed. This being said, the double bed was in a... More

I usually don’t write on travel advice sites nor do I participate in rating stuff but I opened this account just so I could get something off my chest that happened on my trip to Turkey recently at the Mustafa Hotel in Pamukkale. I have decided that this was the single worst moment of my entire trip and it was... More

We went there for a night and had the worst stay. It was REALLY cold! They advertised central heating but their radiators were lukewarm (and that's after we told them three times that they weren't working). The entire staff was huddled around the wood fireplace in the lobby trying to stay warm...and they had radiators all around the lobby! They... More

We understand afterwards why they asked to pay when we checked in: - Room they gave us was not well prepared: hairs everywhere, garbage not empty, not sure they have changed linen. - During storm, water was dropping inside room. - No breakfast as they promised. Even cheap, hostel is not worth the price.

I really don't agree with the other reviewers. What were they expectin? - It's only 20 turkish lira for a double rooom including breakfast? Sure, the room was basic but there is a comfortable lounge/restaurant with a good vibe where you can meet other travallers and the food and drinks are cheap and good. I had a double room to... More

While traveling Turkey, stayed in this property, only worthy for its closeness to the Pamukkale rocks (less than 200m). Rooms are bare bones and everything locks worn, with cheap furniture, old sheets and an a tiny bathroom. The bar downstairs is ok, with decent food and a wifi connection. The staff is helpful. Among the few other hostels/hotels in the... More
