The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking. We spent a lot of time out there esp at sunset. Breakfast views are great. Nice breakfast. Rooms are memorable. Dinner was great. Downside-our room was advertised as having a great view-it had zero view-I don't think any one them did. The pool was very small and very cold. The town has... more

From the moment of our e-mail confirmation of our reservation at the Museum Hotel, the experience was utter perfection. We were greeted at Nevsehir Airport by a driver who was gracious and smiling despite a 5 hour flight delay which he patiently waited out. Upon arriving at the hotel, our bags were swiftly delivered to the right rooms (caves) which... more

We had no idea what to expect and the Museum Hotel pleasantly surprised us with its labyrinth of caves into which the utmost care and thought went in the design of these lovely rooms each with its own personality. We were very comfortable in our large cave and had a good sized window with a beautiful view of the valley.... more

The Hotel is beautiful with incredible views and wonderful rooms. A very sleek and welcoming vibe. Service is a bit slack and could be deemed unacceptable at what is one of the best hotels in Cappadoccia but a word with the owner and things are dealt with swiftly. Breakfast is excellent and room service was above standard but I personally... more

After having an awful experience of 1 night in another hotel, transfering to Museum Hotel was a sort of heavenly gift for me and my husband. The achitecture of the hotel and its decoration are both impeccable. The rooms are so authentic and yet very comfortable. The outdoor pool is located such that you can watch the valley while standing... more

Didn't know what to expect about this hotel but the hotel's web site was very compelling so we decided to try it. We asked to be picked up by the hotel, and we were greeted by charming Ibrahim. A young yet very knowledgeable, very approachable and very nice guide. Once we got to the hotel, we knew we had made... more

The Museum is a lovely hotel in a great location in Uchisar. It's a "cave hotel" so all of the rooms are built into the old caves which is interesting. The room are large and pretty nice. The bed was fairly comfortable, but not great. Climate control in the rooms was a bit lacking, and my wife and I both... more

My friends and I recently spent two nights at the Museum Hotel as part of a private tour of Turkey. Cappadochia had already started to overwhelm us with it's scenery when we arrived at this marvelous place; we thought we were moving into a magical kingdom. Everywhere we looked there were antiques and beautiful objects. We had very comfortable rooms... more

My wife and I stayed at Museum in August 2008 and we still recall this perfect charming accommodation. Indeed, we loved Museum Hotel: a charming luxury boutique hotel with incredible rooms carved in the tufa. Each room is different from the other and has its own exclusive furniture: you will find also antiques coming from a private art gallery/Nevsehir’s museum.... more

I saw the pictures of this hotel on the internet before we left, but I have to say that it was absolutely gorgeous. We had a deluxe cave room and it was very well equipped with a mini bar fridge, cofeemaker and a jet tub. Living in a cave was an incredible experience that I wont soon forget. The hotel... more
