If you want basic accommodations for the night, it is fine to stay here. The location is really convenient, close to the ferry and clock tower. Decor isn't the prettiest. Bed was comfortable enough. The owner was nice and friendly. Average cleanliness. Breakfast was extra but we didn't have it. Chose to buy breakfast at the local bakeries instead. More

Unbelievably, a fellow writer friend that works for Lonely Planet recommended this place to me. He hadn't been there in a few years and things seem to have changed. I don't know if the owner of the place has suffered a loss or is going through depression, but she was rude to my wife, unavailable for questions or when we... More

Good clean budget hotel with breakfast included. Great central location, just hop off bus or ferry and five minute walk to hotel. Five minutes to restaurants and town historical sites and very easy to get ferry and organise to see Gallipoli. We did an excellent private tour with TJ tours and were able to locate a relatives memorial. Lovely owner. More

I stayed in this hotel just one night and accidentally left my 2 I-POD's and expensive speakers at the hotel. I emailed one I realised my error (after I had departed Canakkale) and received an immediate response to say they found it! I was so thrilled that I could retrieve my I_POD and very impressed by the honesty at this... More

Stayed here after having a rough night in Anzac House Hostel. This place was a welcome retreat. The room we stayed in (Room 5) was spacious, clean, nice view of the fore-court, and very good toilet/shower facility. The owner was a very nice lady, who was very helpful, and let us inspect almost all the rooms before we chose the... More

My gf and I really enjoyed our stay in Efes. The bed was sooooooooooooo soft and comfortable we wished we stayed longer in Canakkale. The old woman who runs the place was nice and easy-going. She welcomed us and helped my gf replace a button on her pants. For 50 lira this place was just perfect. Oh and don't forget... More

After checking into an unsuitable hotel around the corner we found this place in lonely planet guide. The owner of the hotel is extremely welcoming and very willing to offer advice and assistance. Rooms came with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, TV and were very quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and the breakfast was served in a... More

This hotel was a good value base to visit the sights of Galipoli and Troy. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was available if required. The lady that runs the place always welcomed you with a smile. This is basic hotel but well priced and central to... More

I stayed at Efes Otel for three nights while I was exploring Gallipoli and the surrounding area. Efes was an interesting place. The woman who owns and manages it is very, very kind and friendly and speaks some English. The hotel is very clean. The beds are comfy. The floors are tiled, so they are clean as well . The... More
