My wife and I stayed for one night in May 2009. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. There was no bathtub but a great shower with lots of hot water and very good pressure. The breakfast provided was good as well. All in all it was perfect for us. The only complaints I have about the... More

This hotel is in a great location, the bedroom was a good size and the bed was comfortable. But.... the room was in need of a lot of relatively minor annoying maintenance work such as blocked shower drain, loose toilet seat, only one hanger in the wardrobe, etc. For example my husband was able to fix a noisy poor fitting... Lovely hotel right on the harbour. Great location and central to everything. We had two meals there and found the food delicious. The buffet breakfast was one of the best on our holiday in Turkey. The rooms were a good size and beds really comfortable. Would recommend to others.

Unfortunately, our experience of the Maydos Hotel was an unpleasant one. We have written to the tour company who booked us for an overnight stay but they have minimised our objections, so ... here is our warning! The Maydos Hotel was a disgrace! • only 2 of 6 lights were working in our room • the bathroom ceiling was flaking... More

Stayed one night as part of Gallipoli visit. Location great but room very small and bathroom shower thick with mould. Had not been cleaned properly for ages. We had a room overlooking waterfront which was lovely to wake up to. Good breakfast. Others on tour stayed in better accommodation and payed the same.

This hotel had quite a large foyer with the dining room in behind it on the waterfront. The room was smallish with a double bed, colour tv, a fridge and a few sticks of furniture. There was a magnificent view of the harbour from our bedroom window. The small bathroom was in good condition. Breakfast was good with a selection... More

My wife and I stayed here as part of a trip to Gallipoli. We had a great room overlooking the harbour. Others apparently were not so lucky. The bathroom could do with renovating however - there was a lot of mould. Breakfast was substantial with plenty of variety. The hotel was location, location, location. Plenty of things to do and... No problems here with budget accommodation booked through an agent. Just a clean bed to lay one's head down on as part of a Gallipoli/Ephesus tour. A window to the fire escape with an animated yapper on his mobile below at 11.00pm woke me. A quick call to reception sorted it.. WIFI in room - yay !!!!!! So all in... More

Beware room 204, the last remaining bunker on the Dardanelles. It is NOT a double room. It is NOT a room. It is a dark closet. Barely bigger than its standard double bed, it has no natural light. Its redundant 'window' gives out on to a dark internal well. When the airconditioning works it is just about bearable, otherwise it's... More

I am a budget traveler and my only three requirements are safe, clean, and comfortable. If you're looking for 5 stars, my review might not be for you. Stayed here only one night as part of a package. Arrived late, so didn't see much of the surrounding area, but it appeared to be centrally located. The hotel itself is very... More
