We were in Chanakale city after our Istanbul tour. We stayed at the Chanak Hotel. It has an excellent location. Very close to the ferry station and all the sites. To discover the city we asked for help from the reception. They were very helpful and fluent in English and gave us a city map. The fish restaurant they recommended... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night (monday) and, after an early start the previous day, all I really wanted to do was sleep. The hotel obviously had different ideas of what people should be doing. Despite being three floors down from it, the terrible, crooning Turkish music from the bar was as loud in my room it must... More

We arrived at Çanakkale by bus coming from Ishmir and need an otel near the bus stop, which means near the ferry. The Anzac was full, so we went to Çanak, nearby. It was a great experience. It is a three stars hotel very convenient. We got a room with a balcony. The room had a flat screen TV ,... More

The main areas are terribly nasty. Its only advantage is to be close to the naval museum and clock tower. The wifi only works at the door of the room... Not really useful... I simply hated the place from the first moment to the last!

The hotel is located near the harbour, it has an agreement with a nearby guarded parking space wich is free for guests of the hotel? It's big and with nice rooms. The staff was a little bit unfriendly, we asked for double bed and we got rooms with separate beds. When we complained the receptionist told us they were fully... More

Stayed in a single room which felt like it was still under renovation....holes in the wall and balcony filled with rubbish and dust. Air-con wasn't working and the hotel staff didn't even bother to try to fix it...(luckily it wasn't in the middle of summer time yet~!). Roof bar is spacious, clean and the food is acceptable.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour package with Hassle Free Tours. We were unhappy with this tour company and this hotel was part of our displeasure. We arrived to a room that appeared very unkempt. The rooms are basic, with unsanded and unpainted plaster repairs to the walls. The carpet was old and... More

During my stay at the Canak Hotel, my friend and I were in the elevator at the when it free-fell five and a half floors and stopped with extremely heavy impact. We were both injured and suffered shock. We were then trapped in the elevator between floors for some time as the emergency telephone in the elevator didn't work. We... More

Stayed here for one night waiting to take the ferry. Great location near the waterfront, shops, restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and breakfast average. Overall a very nice time. Parking was included.
