We pulled into Canakkale after driving from Istanbul and having planned on stopping in Bursa. Needless to say, I hadn't yet planned a room for that night in Canakkale, the Anafartlar was the first place we saw and could park at. The room wasn't great, fantastic view, but not too much else. We stayed here as part of a Gallipoli tour and it ideally located for the ferry across to the peninsula. It is a basic hotel, and fine for the four nights that we were there for. Anafartalar Hotel is a mid-range hotel, located right by the waterfront at Canakkale. Rooms were average; comfortable enough, with a small balcony you could sit on to watch the sunset or the ferries go in and out of the adjacent dock.
