We had an overall pleasant experience here - the building is beautiful and I loved the decor of the rooms. Breakfast was generous and service was good. The hotel could use a bit updating as the bed mattress was a bit saggy and uncomfortable and the shower panel looked as if it was going to pop out soon. The rooms...

In a town full of touristy, modern buildings, this hotel sits like at the mouth of the harbor and knocks your socks off! The building is fabulous and although the rooms are not luxurious, they are filled with charm, and decorated with lovely art chosen with obvious care. The owner is a darling man who see to every detail personally....

The buildin was an ancient caravanserail restored as an hotel not few years ago. We spent there two nights with great pleasure.
Quaint, rustic renovated Ottoman caravansaray (camel caravan rest house). The hotel was conveniently located close to Kusadasi port. The rooms are not numbered, but named and located on the first floor with a fantastic courtyard.
Entering the hotel through the HUGE doors, the reaction is WOW!
Everything about this hotel is outstanding and there is not much more to say.

This building is ancient. So don't expect an insulated, temperature controlled environment.
The bathrooms are modern and clean. Housekeeping is orderly and punctual.
The hotel offers a generous breakfast, which seems to be available nearly all dy.
The courtyard offers guests a quiet place to relax. The location of the hotel is excellent with a variety of inexpensive balik (fish)...

Superb corner room with windows embeded in metre thick walls. Modern clean bathroom in corner.
Meals were delightful.
During our days, delightful demonstrations just appeared in the central courtyard - carpet weaving, and hand silk spinning. No pressure sales, no hype, just something to watch or talk to as you took tea in the courtyard between excursions.
WiFi internet reception...

When I saw this hotel I did not have any idea I will stay there cause I thought it is a castle, not a hotel for guests. Room was designed in tradition turkish osman style, but with more or less modern furniture. Inside area had a garden with small waterfall so it was a real pleasure to relax there with...

We recently stayed in a family suite at this charming hotel in the heart of Kusadasi. I read a lot of positive Trip Advisor reviews about this hotel and researched the history of the hotel which definitely influenced my decision to book here. The hotel is right near the docking port for cruise ships, near the Grand Bazaar, a promenade...
