First of all its true the Germans of which there are about 90% of them do seem to get better treatment at SOME bars but we thought the main reason for this is simply that most of the bar staff cannot speak English so they are frightened to talk to you as it can be an ordeal ordering the poor... Some staff excellent some rude. Ignored at numerous bars, food not that great, mass produced gunk. Drinks not that strong, reverted to bottles of beer instead of draught. Spirits awful.
