The Hotel has a small personal feel and is frequented by middle-aged Belgians who smoke and drink beer all day and eat their meals there, hence they are loved! The owners do very little to the hotel. We had to change one of our 2 rooms due to no hot water in the shower. Our other room had a badly cracked wash basin and no hot water.
