Boasting the classification of "Special Class Hotel", this grand old manor is an oasis of relaxation and quiescence, ensconced in the heart of the historical Mediterranean metropolis of Antalya. The Tuvana Hotel was once the centre of prestigious imperial visits during the early 18th century. Now it has been transformed into a distinguished boutique hotel, surrounded by lush and verdant gardens laden with orange, plum, tangerine and pomegranate trees, creating a fragrantly nonpareil atmosphere.

I’ll start off with the good points, hotel and the location. That’s it. Now the bad points The breakfast We have eaten in hotels in most of the world but never had a breakfast so poor. For the price of the hotel most was on inedible. We had melon that had been set out the previous day and was just a ball of mess. The boiled eggs were either under or over cooked. The word “inedible” covers the breakfast best. The bar prices. My partner ordered two drinks, and when we paid the bill at the end, the cost was €36. No it wasn’t top end champagne but spirit and mixer! A beautiful old buildings spoiled by greed. If you can get a nice room at a good price then eat out and you may be a happy bunny.

Gorgeous hotel surrounded by greenery that makes you feel as if you’re in a Boutique hotel in Italy. A perfect swimming pool to relax, and three lovely restaurants (Italian/Turkish and Tapa). It’s a very chilled stay seconds from amazing nightlife filled with rows of bars. Breakfast was simple but had plenty to choose from. The only negative was the actual prices to drink in the hotel was very steep. We ordered two beers at pool which came to £14, we’re as any bar was no more Than £3. So if you want to relax at the pool bring your own carry out. We definitely will return.

When we first arrived everything seemed good even if the taxi driver did not know where to take us. We drove around for approximately 2 hours until the driver said that he will just leave us in the street because he cannot drive thus to narrow streets. thank good we demanded him to look for an other taxi, at last when arrived at the hotel, it was difficult to see the desk. We had planned a week of holiday to celebrate finishing radiation therapy. Everything had went okay until my husband showered one morning and slipped, he fell down to the floor, he tried to support his fall but crashed into the left wardrobe door leaving a small crack in the plywood door. My husband went to the check in desk and told what happened. the man at the desk told my husband not to worries, since these doors only look expensive but are cheap fake. this man, working for the hotel (he also checked us in to the hotel upon arrival) said to my husband that the cost is going to be approximately 190 Turkish Lira (6,59 €). My husband wanted to pay immediately, but the man at the desk said to pay at check out. We accepted this without thinking that they would hustle us. Next day, the manager of the hotel comes to us to tell us that we need to sort this broken door matter. my husband and I went to talk with the manager and they would fix the doors and call a repairman. Later the manager came to us again and said that we need to pay for the broken door now and that it cannot wait (we were leaving in 2 days). We went to the reception desk and all of the sudden the price had changed from 190 Turkish lira to 190 Euro!!!!! This means that in turkish lira we paid 5474,24. This was a RIPOFF!! they fixed both doors on that wardrobe and replaced the plywood doors with mirror glass doors. I asked the manager what the h*ll but as a woman I was not in the position to negotiate with him. I was just angry on how manager says that the doors were expensive and old while his employee says that they are not and i can see that it is plywood. Secondly the manager says that they paid the repairman in cash and that it was expensive to get him to the hotel. in reallity: This repair man had been sleeping near the hotel the whole week and I do not believe that they paid him over 5000 liras. They had also "fixed2 the small closet for the minibar (see pictures how fixed), this indicates more to my truth, thay fix it cheap and take everything they can get.. I would like to recommend this hotel because of the location and price, but I cannot. The rooms were dirty (no vacuuming, ever? and a lot of dust everywhere) and I cannot get over this massive rip off. I will never visit this hotel again.

The positive part of the hotel is the pool and garden area. The fine dining restaurant is also very good. Breakfast was okay but I had hoped for a lot more. The two rooms we had was worse then a hostel room. Super outdated and not fresh at all. Would recommend to look for other options in the area.

This hotel is truly not about the comfort, unfortunately. So noisy doors, small bads and so so old techniques, like air conditioners, tv, overused towels, so poor breakfasts. Again, UNFORTUNATELY. We expected some pleasant moments. But got this ☝️ BUT, most of all we were disappointed with “stupid” rules like : “You can not bring your food and eat it at the hotel territory”. Let me explain- I came there with kids, and that was kind a dream to live in Antalya old town for a while. As you may know all the cafe and restaurants there are crowdy and noisy, so we took with kids a food and came to the hotel waiting to enjoy our time and meal. (Just in case there are several restaurants at the hotel territory ☝️). Here the receptionist comes out saying- we can not eat at the hotel social territory, we had to go into our room to eat. By the way, rooms are so small, we could barely locate ther our luggage. Restaurants at that time were empty. When we asked, where we can eat with comfort, he could only advice to go to our rooms. Come on guys! Dear HOTEL ADMINISTRATION, when you reject your customers some small staff that may bring huge memories and emotions, you should think of it’s necessity❗️ Thanks to all that experience, I will never come back here.

We had the most enjoyable stay at Tuvana Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel set right in the middle of the historic and vibey Old Town. I loved the little cobble stone road that led to the hotel entrance with sweeping bougainvilleas. The room we stayed in was a family room so had quite a bit of space although the bathroom was tiny! The view of the swimming pool and bougainvilleas was just lovely. The room is clean and neat but definitely needs some colour and decor to brighten it up. It would also be great if they had a tea and coffee station in the room as you cannot find tea or coffee in the morning until the breakfast restaurant opens at 7:30am. If you are an early bird like me then this is a problem. You can't find any open coffee shops open before 8am. However, we were very impressed with the breakfast spread - great variety and the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The staff at the hotel were also friendly and helpful. The location is perfect! Close to all the vibey restaurants and pubs as well as the Harbour. We really really enjoyed our time at Tuvana.

We booked the hotel room through our travel agent. The hotel itself is very good, especially for someone who's looking for a traditional ottoman style architecture. It's also located on streets that are reminiscent of the old ottoman era lanes. However we were utterly disappointed by the room that was allotted to us, room no 901. Firstly to go to the room one has to walk through the restaurants: Our room door and balcony both open into the restaurant, there is no proper privacy and there is also a lot of disturbance. As soon as you open the room door, you're faced with the restaurant hustle and bustle Coming to the restaurants, Service levels are pretty bad, especially the staff who serve the morning breakfast. We ordered pizza in one of the restaurants which serves Italian cuisine ,we were utterly disappointed. The pizza was soggy and watery. I would never eat such a bad pizza. Overall I would say the stay was not a pleasant experience, however the hotel building itself and it's location is good.

That was worst hotel experience i ve ever had. We read reviews and booked this hotel but dont believe what u read! Me and my bf booked at this hotel for 3 days holiday. We arrived around 1 am in the morning there was receptionist which was not very happy to have guests we felt not welcomed. He showed us room that we ordered. Room smelled savage, hairs on the bed, filthy bathroom and pretty cold since it was january month. There was old noisy aircon in the room which is not warming at all after i ve been waiting 30 min with jacket on. We were tired after long trip and wanted to take a warm shower but we couldn’t due to cold room. We asked to change the room we hoped to get better room but other room was absolutely the same. Bed is so hard that better you sleep on the floor. I asked extra blankets and some extra stuff from reception but he was siting downstairs smoking drinking tea with his friends didnt even bother to help us. it was 2am in the morning we didn’t know what to do. I asked refund our money back and he refused rudely. At that point we really wanted to run away from that place and find ourself new hotel somewhere in town. We didnt care money. It was absolutely nightmare! I ve traveled all around the world i never ever experienced such unprofessional behavior from a hotel. Its such a shame because location and architecture was very nice.

The best part about the hotel is its location and its staff. It’s located very close to the places where you’d prefer to walk and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are a disappointment. Some rooms open directly into the restaurant and you will land up on somebody’s table when you will open your rooms door to exit the room. To add to it the rooms are very small. The hotel strangely doesn’t even offer a single bottle of water neither is there an electric kettle in the room. I won’t come back again.
