A large international organization held a conference at this hotel, where the majority of the guests stayed. While the housekeeping staff were very friendly, the dining room and lobby staff were not at all versed in customer service. This is not a 5 star hotel, the public places are out of date and the exterior facilities (pool, beach, tennis court, etc) are badly in need of repair. We live in Cairo, so have traveled extensively throughout this region.

This hotel is OK but do not expect anything to write home about. I have been to many hotels in North Africa and this is above average for that region but not for international standards. Most important events and conferences in Tunis are held in Karthago Palace.It has a traditional charming decoration.The food and room service were good.
