This place is TERRIBLE for families. It is soooo dangerous. My son (2) fell off the balcony of one of the bungalows...apparently they ran out of wood to finish off the railing! It was a 3 meter fall!!! We were soooooooooo lucky that he fell onto the dirt and not the pieces of concrete and steel sticking up from under... More

no no no. dirty, smelly, (full of trash right next to room) ... we could not stay there. just not worth it. next door a little more expensive but way nicer.

The nightly BBQ outside was DELICIOUS! We never missed it and never got sick of the fresh seafood that was brought up from shore and thrown on the grill! Awesome! The staff were so accommodating (especially helpful Mr. Ed!) and would have done anything for us! Bike rentals were cheap which made going to the bigger, whiter sand beach easy... More

Samed Cliffs is a nice hotel on a quiet beach in Samed. Just a short motorbike away from the more popular locations of Samed. For the price though, there are better locations for much cheaper prices on the island.

The hotel is situated in the northern part of Koh Samet. About 1½ km to the nearest convenience store, restaurants and harbour. Very helpful and friendly staff although most of them speak very little English. The hotel is situated by the beach but the beach is not very big. There are some sun chairs available.
