We stayed in boat lagoon resort for five days and I must say it was probably one off the worst hotels I have stayed at, we found the staff rude especially the reception staff ,it was like they didn't want to do any thing for you, everything was an affort. I don't usually complain about hotels but I must say... More

We were lucky to stay in a studio apartment over looking the marina with all the expensive boats. The apartments are unfortunately a bit dated & old looking inside. The amenities though , are good with a small kitchen area, bathroom with shower & bedroom with wardrobes & a safe which is free. The marina have quite a few eating... More

This was a short stay, and I had booked through the Karma group. The two bedroom apartment was very comfortable, and was a part of the row houses that sat at the edge of a canal that meandered through the residential area. Despite doubtful reviews, I found the apartment clean, regularly serviced, with adequate air conditioning in the bedrooms, and... More

We have stayed at this resort several times. The primary reason being that it is located close to the compound where family lives. We have stayed in the main lodge as well as in the one bedroom efficiency suites overlooking the marina. It is true that this resort caters to the Asian group tours market. This also means that during... More

O.k., it wouldn't be an ideal hotel for those who are in Phuket for pure holiday bliss and would like to do all the touristy things in the shortest span of time. You could do much better staying at the west part of Phuket. We stayed at the Boat Lagoon due to the need to be closest to an international... More

We initially planned to stay 8 nights but checked out after 1. The room smelled of damp & was a twin, not king as confirmed. We also had a confirmed pick up which the hotel denied. The second room was better but there were holes in the sheet. The tap water was rusty and not suitable for drinking. The hotel... More

My four night stay at the Boat Lagoon Resort was underwhelming at best. Location: Unless you're in Phuket to buy, sell, or anchor your yacht, be warned that there is little to do for non-locals in the vicinity of this resort. It's a good 30 minute, $1200 baht taxi ride just to Patong Beach. There are a few open air... More
