Stayed at the Gallery Hotel for two weeks. Most staff have smattering of English but seemed more friendly to other Asians. Free beach towels and umbrellas but wifi was not free. The pool was small and shaded and a welcome change from the beach.

Great beds, good night sleep. A few issues, room safe can be carried out (not bolted down) no shelves in bathroom, no bedside light switch near bed - have to get out of bed to turn it off. Staff are extremely friendly! Then of course that was a year ago. Given said that, it isnt far from the beach or the well-known Bangla Road. Rooms are small in particular, however it was warm & cozy.. :) It doesnt feel like a hotel, it felt like home.

Positive. The location near to everything important. Beach through a shotcut, only 3-5 minutes. Bangla road just enough far away, but close if you want to visit it. The hotel rooms are quite big.
