My wife and I have just spent 10 nights at the Nakamanda and enjoyed it immensely. We stayed in a Sala Villa which was both spacious and extremely comfortable. A nice small place with less than forty rooms. Apart from the three villas (the Jacuzzi villas are recommended) the rooms are localised in 'Salas' i.e. one or two (most of them) storeyed small houses. The lower level has basically no view other than towards the outside walkways, and more importantly, whoever walks on these can look into your room.... more

When we first arrive at the Nakamanda, it just seem like any other boutique hotels.. But after we slept through the night and we settled in nicely, Nakamanda seem to grow more beautiful by the hour...Its like a quiet, unassuming little creature...This place is indeed so quiet and peaceful that we can hear crickets and water driping in the water... more

The Nakamanda is a fabulous hotel in a superb location. [I'm afraid my review might be a slighty biaised by the fact that we had stayed in a couple of other hotels which were outstanding beforehand (so the bar had been set high!). We stayed here in July 2009 for three nights on a full board basis in a basic sala villa. The resort collected us from our other hotel and had a day room ready for us as we arrived at 10am. The villas are big and spacey and very clean. The bathrooms are very big and have a massive bath big... more

I have been living in Thailand since 2004 and can say for sure this is one of the best resorts I have been to in the South. Krabi is one of the only places that have not yet been spoiled but where you have all the comfort of a 5 star hotel. Villas were fantastic, I loved the private beach... more

Very value to stay for your vacation. Don't expect for white beach but hotel is a great design and can design for all romantic's view. Highest qualtiy of service and accomodation. more
