OK the good to start with : Good location, closer to airport than ao nang, you can get ferries to go to places from the real close ferry pier. We thought the location was the best in Krabi as it was right by the river and next to Thara Park so you only had to step outside the hotel to go for a walk along the riverfront in an evening and either into the park, or the other way to the night markets. Stayed 2 nights hereon the way to Phuket by ferry. Modern hotel, it's more of a guesthouse really, with good rooms, all air conditioned plus fridge. It's worth paying the extra for a front room with balcony and river view (1000 baht exc breakfast). Plenty of buzz here with visitors from Europe and Asia. Great views of the Krabi river... more
