This doesnt mean the hotel was unpleasantly basic. Far from it. Lovely cabins, flowers, hammocks, jetty and sun beds on the water, bar, dining etc. but this place is a true haven. Fantastic! 30 minute long tail boat trip up river, beautiful rafts with thatched cabins, NO ELECTRICITY - you get a paraffin lamp (take a torch!).
