This place is basic - but spotless and well worth the price. Nice and quiet - staff is nice and just a short stroll to the beach and a variety of great seafood restaurants.

There's nothing terribly wrong with the Chomtawan--the girls at the Front Desk were as pleasant as can be, the room was ultra basic, but clean, the pool was an OK size for a small hotel. The included breakfast was also OK, but would get boring very quickly since it's the same every day. It probably only makes sense to stay... More

We have stayed in this hotel for a week and we have to say that we were very happy there! We found it from the net for a good price and breakfast was included- everyday the same but it was! Staff was very friendly and always smiling. But english-unfortunately not good at all. But if everything is working you don't... More

We stayed at Chomtawan Resort in November/December 2008. We chose it after having viewed numerous possibilities on the internet and forming a mental picture of what the hotel was like.
