Yes naga hill is peaceful. But the inconvenience outweighs this. You are reliant on the resorts taxi. We had a very poor experience with this. Hotel restaurant is overpriced, but if you do not want to pay 400bht to go into town and back what can you do? Service is average. Naga hill would be better if they hired bikes... More

Naga Hill was amazing. We started our trip there and were so spoiled that every place after did not compare. I will try to just put the facts up and see if it suits you. Pros: Quiet, peaceful, tours available (hill tribes/treks/river ride/elephants white temple), fantastic dining, great value, basic room with wonderful scenery, toilet in or attached, hot water,... We stayed at Naga Hill for 4 nights over xmas period in December 2011 and it was magic. Yes the resport if a bit of a way out of the city of Chiang Rai but that is what makes it such a great hideaway. Located nearby a lake and heaps of lovely walking tracks, the staff at the resort just... More

My wife & I stayed 3 nights in this hotel LOCATION 20min ride from Chiang Rai night market. A little bit far but it's located in a beautifull and big garden (approx 3 hectares). It's worth the 250 bath taxi ride SERVICE Well managed by a Thai and British couple. Staff is nice, competent and speaks good english.  ROOMS You... More

We stayed here in July 2011 with our family of 3 kids. We were given the family bungalow which had large rooms and bathroom nextdoor but covered. However the quality of the bungalows is very low : very simple and basic and no airco nor fans, so I did not sleep during those 2 nights of the heat. What is... More

This is a place I will consider if I go back to Chiang Rai, especially if I have company of a loved one. The bungalow where we stayed were shielded and nice. I especially liked the openess of the bungalow that gave me a feeling of sleeping outdoors, but still protected from mosquitos and rainfall. I also liked the service... More

This lovely, quiet getaway has beautifully landscaped grounds, a gorgeous pool, and a host and employees who will do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. The food was excellent and they make great coffee. Jo hooked us up with a really fun trek, and let us keep our bags there while we were gone overnight. He was also... More

One of the best adresses of our trip in Thailand, at a very reasonable accomodation price. Not far outside the city, offering a relaxing and natural evironment, for week-end or holidays. Food is excellent. Swimming pool, massage. Excellent service. They can organise all kind of trips around the city as well as 1-3 days trekkings to hill's tribes. More

You only get a mattress on the floor, no AC, outside toilet, but somehow it works really well. We only spent 3 days but could of spent 3 weeks. More

Very nice resort in an extremely quiet place. Fantastic, neat bungalows with private open-air bathroom. Nice swimming pool and surrounding garden. Good kitchen - great banana cake and music selection. Very kind staff: delicious Nanna and cool Dj Joe. Also tried "magnetism" but still have some doubts about it... The only weakness is that the centre is far away -... More
