Arrived in Chiang Rai yesterday, checked into the Wiang Inn, checked out the next day. Very old and shabby. This is defenitely one of the wackiest places to stay in Chiang Rai. Rooms look like youre in the middle of disneyland. We stayed at the "starwars room". This is by far the funkiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Each room has a theme - such as Star Wars, Thai Boxing, Aladdin, Tarzan, Mickey Mouse, Spa, Cars, etc. Rooms start at 350 baht/night with many interesting rooms at 500 baht/night.
