The staff is very nice and helpful. Tim, the manager met us at the airport so we got to the hotel quick and easy for a low cost. This was our first visit to Chiang Rai and we got a lot of suggestions of excursions from Tim and the staff. The restaurant had excellent food so if you don´t want to... More

I stayed in Palm Garden Hotel in May 2011, sorry for the late review. This is not a luxury hotel, little away from the city. But for the price you pay, it is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good with choice of Thai and Westerm mix, served by always smiling waitresses. The owner of the... More than we expected from a 3 Star Hotel. Wonderful reception committee and the staff were always happy and very helpful. Tim the Manager very happy to arrange trips to your individual needs. Clean rooms, well serviced. We used the restaurant several times and the food was very good at a reasonable price

This is not a luxury hotel but for the price it is very good value, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good with choice of Thai and western. We have stayed at many hotels in Thailand over the years and not many do you get such a warm welcome from all the staff as you do at... More

the staff at this hotel are so pleasant just like almost all hotels in Thailand as the Thai People are so gentle and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily and are very neat. Chian Rai is a nice city just north of Chiang Mai. Go on a tour to the golden triangle as its awesome

Booking through Holidayclub.com, as we had a credit, we paid about 50% of the on line rate. Which to be honest is about what its worth. And the ridiculous scam of charging more for a 1 double bed, not an option on the booking web site, as opposed to two single beds was added to our final bill. The room... More

It is certainly not the (very quiet, except for the descending airplanes ....) location (rather far outside the center, but with a tuk tuk easily reachable), nor the size and quality of the rooms (average), nor the choice and quality of the restaurant (with a moderate (but for the size of the hotel large) buffet breakfast), but it is the... My wife & I stayed there for 5 nights & found the hotel in general very clean & enjoyed our suite with its shiny wooden floors. The hotel is not that old & the owners are very friendly & helpful. As the hotel is 10-15 minutes away from town, they book a tuk-tuk for you costing 80 baht one way.... More

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Good value, but a bit too far out of town. Even the tuk tuk driver got lost taking us back to the hotel after we had been to the night market.

We stayed here for three nights. The king-sized bedroom was spacious and had a very large window with a view from the second floor (ask for the back side of the hotel for a pastoral view replete with Brama bulls and goat meandering in the afternoon). The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and you can order specialty coffee drinks for... More
