I did enjoy my stay here but would not return, only because I felt it was more suitable for older folks it was way to quiet for me, I like it peaceful when I'm away but this was something else, you felt guilty for enjoying yourselves to loud because of the way some of the guest looked at you....the chalets... As other reviews rightly said, this is a quiet location in Cha-am and appealing if you do not like high-rise hotels or want night-life. The rooms in wooden bungalows, set in an attractive garden, were spacious and well appointed, but not luxurious or trendy! The pool is large and delightful, and the hotel is right next to the beach if... More

As others have said, lovely peaceful hotel but a little isolated and no fully manned bar while we were there so you couldn't get a drink in the evening unless you were eating in the restaurant. There were a couple of restaurants if you turned right out of the hotel and more if you turned left and headed for the... More

Beautiful looking hotel, rooms nice, but not outstanding, situated out of town which was great for the quietness of the beach but a pain cos you had to get taxis or the hotel shuttle which was not cheap think it should have been complimentary really, also Internet was £12 per hour!!! Hotel of this size and level you would not... More

Very peaceful & enjoyable holiday, the rooms are very clean but basic, but what more do you need. We stayed on room only basis but did have several meals in the restaurant which were very nice although a bit expensive. The restaurants on the beach & in the village are better value, half the price! The staff here are amazing... More

We've been staying in this hotel with friends October 2011 for a week. We got to Regent Chalet by car from Bangkok, it's about 200+ km to south-west. It is situated 10 km south from Cha-am and 20 km north from Hua-Hin. We've booked a double chalet. The rooms were really cosy: made and finished of wood. A small terrace... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Regent Chalets in Cha Am, to begin with we were met by a representative at the airport. She made us feel very welcome, we then travelled by private taxi to the Regent Chalets. Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly by the staff and offered light refreshments while we waited for our room keys... More

If you want a rugby scrum at mealtimes, noisy crowded bars, drunken loud louts, herds of screaming kids, don't go! If you want lovely chalets in beautiful grounds right on the beach, really good food, happy attentive staff,a good sized pool a short stroll to a village, a short ride to a town and the chance to dine under the stars with gentle music... We stayed here for the third time after 2006 and 2007 and were a little disappointed on what the place became. Our first stay in 2006 was perfect, also the 2007 vacation was great. It still is a nice place to relax but the rooms are getting pretty old and they don't seem to care. Also the breakfast is not... More

Was really pleased with this hotel as I wasn't sure what to expect as the reviews are quite old. We booked this through Thompson worldwide and got a really good deal in comparison to others who went through Saga. The rooms were good really spacious kept clean everyday there was no minibar they just provided a fridge and replenished the... More
