My wife and I stayed at the Long Beach Cha Am Hotel for 3 weeks from late May to mid June 2008. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who continued to be kind and courteous to us throughout our stay. Our room on the ninth floor was spacious, clean and in good condition. The glass wall to the balcony provided plenty of natural light, the view from the balcony took in the mountains on one side and the sea to the other. The sunrises over the sea were inspiring. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide choice. Room service was prompt with, in our opinion, excellent food. The hotel massage spa is excellent with qualified, caring staff. The hotel restaurant facing the beach has a terrace upon which one may enjoy some food and drink and watch the ever changing scenes on the beach road and beach. Cha Am is not a party town, it has its own quiet charm which is enjoyed by the Thai people who visit there from Bangkok each weekend. We would recommend this hotel to families and... more
