We stayed at the Beach Terrace for an all-too-brief 3-night stay in mid-March. After three weeks of having toured Cambodia and Vietnam with a large tour group and living out of suitcases, we needed to unwind and be away from noise and crowds. Situated between the towns of Cha-Am town and Hua Hin, and nestled among high-rise resorts, the two-story... More

Beach Terrace is just the way I like a hotel, small but with big rooms, family feeling, and peaceful. We had originally booked for eight days, but extended because we were so happy there. The food was always excellent, and all of the ingredients are bought fresh every day. We never felt a need to eat outside. There is plenty... More

We arrived in marts 2012, after having spent a couple of month on Boracay, Philippines. This is a very nice small place, everything is clean and the rooms are big and nice. The hotel has a nice roof terrace with a nice view to the sea-side and a couple of sun-chairs. Thw owner is nice and does everything for you,... More

I decided to book 2 nights at Beach terrace based on the reviews I read and also because it was rank number 1. First of all, the hotel is outside of cha-am, there's not much to do around the resort. Just a few bars where older people are drinking all night. No night market or anything. It's 8 km by... More

I am sorry that the tide has been so high in this time. But that is nature, there have been problems with that, and that water not look so nice, is because of sand. 2 days ago we had guests swimming, and they allso do from the other hotels. I belive myself, that the charge of the rooms is fair.... More

This is a great place if you are looking for an intimate beach front retreat. The Beach Terrace is situated directly on the beach and has stunning views across the Gulf of Thailand. When we were there last year, we were treated to an amazing display of luminous eel like fish ,which swam right up to the building -truly remarkable!. The room... More

I had an enjoyable 7 night stay here recently. Tom, the owner was very helpful from the outset & organised transport from my Bangkok hotel to the Beach Terrace, and anything else I asked for while I was there ... no worries :) The room I had was perfect, larger than most I've stayed in, and with a beautiful view... Bargain stay at the beach terrace. 2 bedrooms plus a terrace and kitchen. All for 2000 baht. Tom the owner really friendly. Food was great in the restaurant, even had tomato sauce and brown sauce which my teenagers were very happy with. Nice beach although the sea was very rough while we were there. The room is quite basic, a... More

We had to change our plans at the last minute due to the flooding in Bangkok and the Beach Terrace fitted the bill perfectly. There was internet chatter though about the road south but a few e mails with the owner Tom reassured me and as he promised everything turned out fine. Tom arranged a taxi from Bangkok for us... We stayed at the Beach Teraace for just one night but thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definately be back when we are in the area. It has the most fantastic position directly on the beach front - what a view to wake up to!! The staff are extremely attentive and the hotel is kept very clean and fresh. Breakfast... More
