We had this place booked for us for attending the full moon party through a travel agent & I have to say if it had been down to us we probably wouldn't have picked it at first glance.

The resort was just a 5 minute drive from the pier (they pick you up for free when you arrive) at Thong-Sala & probably a 10-15 minute drive to Haad-Rin where the full moon party was held, a share taxi ride there cost us 100 Baht per person.

The rooms were a selection of individual wooden (no concrete as mentioned on the flyer for the place) bungalows raised on stilts, ours had air conditioning. They were surrounded by garden & some went right down to the beach. It had 2 single matresses inside on a raised platform (thai style?), the shower & sink was attached in an outdoor enclosed area & the toilet was at the other side of the bungalow indoors.
